I've added the new AltFunk CD to the player. It's a mixture of Alternative sounds and the Funk sounds heard on Funky Funk Funk (I really need to come up with new names for these things...) Anyway, it's 15 tracks and I hope you like it.
I've also uploaded some demo's of another genre I'm trying to lean towards. The concept album is Three&Chillout. It's mostly keys and bass (and a little guitar of course) laid ontop of industrial or laid back chillout beats. This is the first time I've experimented with this style so expect some not-so-good stuff until I can get the hang of it.
I also bought a new microphone recently. It's a Studio Projects C1 microphone. It's huge, it's heavy, and it's beautiful! The mic is literally as big around as a coke can and weighs in at probably 45lbs...(ok not really...but it does weigh too much for the mic stand that I currently have. A walmart bag filled with rocks had to be affixed to the opposide end!) Anyway, here's a link to the SP C1's homepage. |
